Feb 27, 2013· I've been using the dropper loop for years. It worked fine. One issue I had with it was it tends to slip, and the loop gets smaller, whenever a good load is applied to the line. Anyway, I recently found the kiwi knot. It's similar to the dropper, but much faster to tie. It also doesn't slip like the dropper. There's a lot of web sites about it.
